The difference

Why proper nouns come out mangled

It isn’t about having a better or worse model. It’s a flaw in the way almost every dictation tool is built.

The program listens to the audio and reduces it to a line of text. From that moment the audio is gone.

If that line reads Citrader, the corrector receiving it has no way of knowing what it actually sounded like: all it can do is guess, and it picks the word it knows best.

How does the seven-day trial work?
You create the account, enter a card, and get seven days with everything switched on and no limits. Nothing is charged before it ends: cancel within that window and you pay nothing at all. Don’t cancel, and the subscription starts.
Does my voice get sent anywhere?
Not with the local engine: transcription happens on your computer and the audio never leaves it. In top-quality mode the audio goes to the transcription services for as long as it takes to return the text, and it isn’t kept. You choose the mode, and you can change it whenever you like.
How does it avoid mangling proper nouns?
No dictation system is infallible, but here the correction works under a constraint: it can improve how a word is spelled, not swap it for a different one. If the doubt can’t be settled reliably, it flags it to you instead of inventing something. And terms you have added to your vocabulary always take precedence.
What if it corrects a word that was already right?
That’s the exact problem this was built to solve, and it’s why every change goes through a check before it reaches your text: whatever doesn’t hold up is thrown out and your dictation stands. Terms you taught it always win, even when they look like a famous brand.

How many languages does it work in?
Over a hundred. And it handles mixing well: if you drop terms from another language into a sentence — normal enough if you work in tech — it spells them correctly instead of transcribing them by ear.
Do I need an internet connection?
For offline mode, only on first launch, to download the speech model; after that it works anywhere with no network. Top quality and the advanced correction do need a connection.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. The same account works on computer and phone, and the vocabulary you build stays in step across both.
How do I cancel?
From your profile, in one click, without writing to anyone. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then stops.
What about Mac or iPhone?
Not yet. The priority was Windows, where there’s little else around, and Android. Apple versions are on the list.
